"It never got weird enough for me"

Hunter S. Thompson Book Collection

After I started reading The Good Doctor's works, having most as paperbacks, I figured it would be cool to have an autographed hardback. In 2002, I picked up Fear and Loathing in America, knowing nothing about book collecting and not realizing the rarity of this limited edition. A few years later, a friend gave me a first printing of Generation of Swine. And that's how the ball got rolling. Recently, I've decided to build a full collection of all first printings; I'll be updating this page as the project progresses.

If you've stumbled across this page sharing a similar interest, I highly recommend checking out hstbooks.org, lots of great information and Marty is extremely knowledgeable and helpful. I wouldn't claim to be an expert, however I'm happy to share what I've learned with other HST junkies out there. Also, should you be selling titles I'm missing, please let me know - cyrix686l@hotmail.com
