His career journey—from helpdesk to senior leadership—has shaped his hands-on, collaborative approach to solving complex business and technical challenges.
Darren has held key roles across telecommunications, advertising, financial services, and media & entertainment, leading initiatives in IT operations, infrastructure, security program development, and risk management. His expertise includes:

Darren understands small business because he runs one himself. As founder of VintageComputerRental.com, a retro tech prop rental company, he brings firsthand experience and a creative perspective rooted in his passion for media and technology. He knows what it’s like to wear multiple hats and build something meaningful from the ground up.
What’s with the name?
We get asked all the time where our company name comes from—and we get it. It sounds like something you’d hear in a toga while debating Cicero.
The truth? It’s named after a character from Darren’s high school Ancient Greek primer. Somewhere between memorizing verb conjugations and reading Homeric myths, one oddly charming name stuck—and years later after taking a more Roman form, it became the name of a tech consultancy.
Is it unconventional? Sure. But so is our approach to problem-solving. And hey, it’s more memorable than “Tech Solutions Unlimited,” right?
